I know my use for it is a little specialized compared to it’s braoder intentions, but it’s darn-near perfect. However, when I go back to the Notefile menu to copy my next-needed snippet of text, it would be nice to have it automatically show me a list of all my notes again, rather than having to click the ‘gear icon > Find’ or hitting 'Command-F.’ It’s a super-minor thing, I know - so call me crazy or whatever you like :-) But if I at least had the option to set it to by default always go back to the list of all notes when re-opened, or at least be able to do so via one click instead of two, that would be the icing on an already-delicious cake!Īnyways, this is still a fantastic app. I’ve selected the preference option to “Hide Automatically” when I de-focus on the note window drop-down from the menu bar, which is a nice touch after I copy some text out and need to get back to my email web tool. It’s nice to have easy access to the text snippets via the menu bar.Īt the moment, there is one small option that I’d like to see added. I use this mainly to store some canned email response templates that I frequently use, since my company’s email web tool does not work properly with text-expanders (and truth be told, I’m old-fashioned and prefer to copy/paste anyways).
